About Jim Kleban

Jim Kleban is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and product development. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering, where he specialized in machine learning and image retrieval.

He has built and led teams that delivered AI-powered products in areas including search, advertising, misinformation, and fraud detection. His work spans both large-scale platforms and early-stage startups, focused on applying advanced research to real-world problems.

Jim is the founder of Infeather, a creative studio for human-first AI tools. Its current focus is World Tree, an AI travel app designed to bring depth and meaning to exploration through local voices and storytelling. He previously led AI at a startup building tools for modern work.
